After many years in local government I was looking for a career change. My new career needed to give me both autonomy and flexibility and after much searching I decided to retrain as a driving instructor. I looked into various companies and decided to go to DIT on the basis that they were a more personalised organization than other companies I looked at and yet big enough to offer employment opportunities during training and once qualified.

The training was very professional and was arranged to fit around my existing commitments. Once successfully through the part 2 examination and part 3 training, I was able to start employment on a trainee licence whilst working towards the part 3 exam. Not only were GT able to deliver high quality training they also offered me full support when starting my new career, this enabled me to practice the skills taught in preparation for the part 3 exam.
