What happens when I qualify?

You have the choice once you are fully qualified of running your own driving school or working for an existing multi-car school such as GT School of Motoring, BSM or the AA etc. Whatever you prefer, we guarantee to help you find a position once you are qualified; there is a national shortage of good, well-trained driving instructors.

Whatever you decide we want you to be fully equipped to perform in the most professional manner and to ensure maximum earning potential for you and value for money for your pupils. We therefore cover all aspects of diary and pupil management, customer care, how to speak to new pupils, how to get your pupils to book 2 hourly lessons to reduce repositioning time etc. We also cover how to set up your own driving school and how to evaluate the various franchise packages offered by driving schools.

As you will be self-employed we also cover keeping your accounts, national insurance contributions etc.  All surprisingly simple. This training is normally done at the end of your part 3 training.
